THE RESEARCH

The Lynne Cohen Foundation for Ovarian Cancer Research is a unique 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that raises funds for highly-focussed research in the field of early detection and prevention of women's cancers. Created in 1998 in memory of Lynne Cohen by her three daughters (then in their twenties), the Lynne Cohen Foundation is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art patient care for women and families at increased-risk of breast and ovarian cancer through the Lynne Cohen Preventive Care Programs; supporting research aimed at finding an ovarian cancer early detection test; and to funding highly-focussed, multi-institutional research which will lead to effective prevention strategies and interventions to improve the quality of life and survival rates of women with breast and ovarian cancer.
