Carol Ann Ballard courageously battled advanced Stage IV ovarian cancer for seventeen months and passed away June 4, 2001 at age 60. Afterwards her three daughters, Carrie Bean, Janine Hall and Denise Engebrecht, along with their dad, Ben Ballard, decided to set up a Memorial Fund in her name. They delight in doing what they can to raise funds for research to help women with advanced stage ovarian cancer, promote early detection and awareness, and ultimately find a cure.
