The Lynne Cohen Foundation for Ovarian Cancer Research is an organization created in memory of a woman who dedicated herself to improving the lives of others. Our mission is to continue her spirit of giving by supporting groundbreaking research in the field of early detection and prevention of women's cancers. We are driven by two main principals:
• Prevention Choices Saves Lives
• Breast & Ovarian Cancers are Curable Diseases When Found in Early Stages
Based on these principals, the Lynne Cohen Foundation seeks to increase awareness of the warning signs and symptoms of ovarian and breast cancer through outreach and education;
provide multi-disciplinary, individualized risk assessment/management and access to the latest research studies and clinical trials for high-risk patients; and
support cross-institutional research that will lead to effective prevention strategies and interventions to eliminate the morbidity and mortality due to ovarian and breast cancers.
For the past 10 years, the Lynne Cohen Foundation has supported research, education and life-saving services for women and families in need. To read more about our progress, please download a copy of our 2007 Annual Reports.
Thank you for your ongoing support. Your generosity provides hope to all those united in the fight against women's cancers.
